Pixel in the community kitchen

The architecturally remarkable building, which once housed Linz´s community  kitchen and is today the home of Architekturforum Oberösterreich, is another Pixel Hotel location with a room done up in Eternit tiles. The room is located on the second floor. Its windows face south and the sunlight that pours in during the daytime nicely picks out the seam pattern of the Eternit tiles. This gives the room a uniquely modernist feel. A special highlight in this Pixel is the fold-away bed that pretends it´s part of the wall until you make it unfold by remote control.
